SeaWorld recently returned two green sea turtles near Jacksonville, Florida. The first turtle, rescued on May 5th, was suffering from a possible intestinal blockage. The turtle gained three pounds while in SeaWorld’s care.
The second turtle was rescued on April 17th, and was suffering from moderate pneumonia. Both turtles were cared for by SeaWorld’s animal care teams, and were cleared for release back into their natural waters upon successful recovery from their illnesses.
